Portia is founded by Ana and Klas Kristiansson - also the founders of Desinder Agency - A strategy, branding and design agency based in Stockholm Sweden, and the online educational platform Apparel Entrepreneurship.
They have 25+ years of apparel industry knowledge working with hundreds of brands, from startups to multi million dollar corporations.
From working with so many brands - Ana, Klas and their team have deep industry insight and knowledge on how brands operate, what their pain points are, and what they need.
Through the years it’s been evident what works and what doesn’t. What’s missing and what the real problems inside brands are.
To build a true long-lasting environmentally responsible brand, sustainability needs to come from the core of the brand, rooted in it’s strategy and goals - not as an afterthought.
They picked up the best ways of working - accumulating in proven processes, workflows, project management, systems and strategies that get results and move united teams forward, building strong and long lasting brands.
Few brands have it all “figured out” and operate in an optimized, smooth manner. They saw the frustrations, the chaos and the lost opportunities by not having proper processes, project and product management in place. They saw the teams working in silos without any holistic brand approach.

Portia is build on the thousands of products, hundreds of projects and countless meetings with global teams. It’s built on the accumulated knowledge from running the Desinder agency in the past 17 years.
